Inclusion of sexual and gender diversity in academia.

Summary:

This communication intends to show the result of a comparative study on sexual and gender diversity in the academic environment, carried out with students from the University of Madeira (Portugal) and the Federal University of Sergipe (Brazil).

If one of the universities has a long work on this topic, we find that there is still a lot of ignorance among students in the contexts studied.

The discussion of these themes in the academic space proves to be fundamental for the conceptual renovation and triggers important changes in organizational contexts.
